The checklist covers ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. It allows you to test your systems and process for compliance with the standards principals. The following are the key coverage areas.
4 – Overall Requirement for the System
5 – Requirements for Management
6 – Resource Requirements
7 – Requirements for Products or Services
8 – Requirements for Analysis and Improvement
ISO 9001 is one of the standards within the range of ISO 9000 standards. The ISO 9001 standard specifies the requirements for a generic quality management system; it does not include requirements specific to other management systems, such as those for occupational health and safety, environmental, or financial management, and is intended to be applicable to any organization regardless of its size, type, or the products/services provided. This standard does not define the actual quality of the organization’s product or service, but is intended to help an organization to achieve consistent results and provide products and services that meet customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
The goal of ISO 9001 is to assure that an organization’s products and services conform to customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements through the effective application of a quality management system and the continuing improvement of the system’s processes. The purpose of this checklist is to evaluate whether your quality system meets the requirements specified in ISO 9001:2015.
